Just a few shots from a amazing wedding in Corova at the “Wild Horse” event home. The weather was perfect and the couple and crowd were a blast to work with!
In a time when customer service is lacking, Outer Banks Productions is NOT! Michelle and Doug are absolutely amazing! They photographed my March wedding at the Hilton pier and reception at the pier house. We could not have been happier with our pictures (all 2300 of them!)! We got nothing but glowing remarks about how wonderful all the pictures were from our friends and family members. Doug and Michelle were nothing short of superb. They were so helpful as I was having such a hard time planning a wedding from across the country! We could tell that they were generally happy for us on our day. The turn around time for us to both see our pictures on their website and to get our discs in the mail was so quick! I was amazed at their timeliness, not to mention their professionalism. For the quality of everything we received and for their amazing service, we should have paid at least twice as much as we did. They were just wonderful and I would recommend them over and over again! If I had to do it over again, I would absolutely choose Doug and Michelle again. Michelle had some amazing ideas and they were both so calming on my big day. I couldn’t have asked for more from them. If i could have given then 10 out of 5 stars i would have. I cannot believe how great the pictures are. They got exactly what we asked for, they really did capture moments, it is unbelievable to see what our wedding looked like through someone elses eyes. Today we received a thank you note from Lauren and Bobby, a wonderful couple we photographed. They were such a joy to work with. Congratulations, Lauren and Bobby! We feel honored to have had the opportunity to work with you.
Michelle and I just received our 2009 “The Knot Best of Weddings” award along with a copy of the Knot’s Best of Weddings Magazine. We are listed under the Florida and Southeast tab on pages 146 for photography under Michelle Haber Photography & page 150 for videography under Outer Banks Productions. We really couldn’t believe that we won it for the second time in a row and for both photography and videography!
The Knot Best of Weddings is a coast-to-coast guide to the entire country’s top florists, venues, photographers, videographers, cake makers, and everything in between. What’s really amazing about this is that the Knot magazine really had nothing to do with it at all but that an independent company came in and polled all the brides. It was all the brides doing! Which to me makes it even bigger and better! There were over 25,000 brides polled.

Michelle & I just got the call the other day from the Knot. Apparently we are going to be published in the “Best of Pick 2009″ edition of the Knot. We were told that we won for both photography and videography. If you are planning an Outer Banks Wedding for 2009 be advised that the dates are filling up very quickly. If you are having a Spring wedding and are going to wait until the Wedding Expo in January of 2009 you will be very surprised to find out that your date will probably be booked. Even if you are just looking, start calling and ask about availability!
If you are planning a May 2009 wedding, start booking your vendors now! The trend is that May 2009 weddings on the Outer Banks is booking already. We currently have 6 dates in May 2009 booked. Take our advice and don’t delay!

We just got a call from local DJ John Harper (Also a winner) and found out we made “The Knot Best of 2008″ and as I’m looking through, there it is in pages 174 and 178 wow!!! Here are a few shots of our last wedding of the season. After shooting 60 weddings between photography and videography, Michelle and myself were really happy to work with such an amazing couple. Miles and Margarita had a great wedding day and from these pictures you can see they were definitely ready to get married!
